William has over 28 years of diverse experience in biomedical engineering, bioanalytical chemistry and epidemiology, and demonstrated leadership in the biotechnology and healthcare industry. As a scientist and research program manager for DuPont, Eli Lilly and Cyberonics, William led technical organizations to numerous publications, issued patents and commercialized products generating revenues of 5.7 billion dollars annually. As Senior Director for the Life Sciences division of Tietronix, William leads our team’s research and development efforts for a variety of medical device and software projects. He consults with NASA-JSC, NIH and the regional biotech industry in the fields of neurostimulation, behavioral health, regulatory science and mHealth. William is an avid organic gardener, cook, musician, and on occasion even a triathlete.
Chris has over 25 years of experience developing sophisticated technology programs for the Aerospace and Class III medical device industry. Chris is leading the effort to develop process centric infrastructure tools and software oriented solutions for the medical device industry. Chris has been a project manager and principal software engineer for a venture funded Class III medical device company responsible for executing key software projects through formal design control, verification and validation process in compliance with FDA regulations. Chris has been involved with numerous Class III medical startup companies. Chris has co-authored and submitted six U.S. patents covering patient management and threshold optimization software applications for implantable medical device systems (three patents issued to date). He led the effort for Tietronix to achieve ISO 13485 certification. This included building a Quality Management System (QMS) that is compliant with ISO 13485 and ISO 14971 standards. Chris has a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Abbas has over 12 years of experience developing software solutions for complex problems in the Aerospace and Medical device arenas. At Tietronix, Abbas leads medical device software projects and is involved in business development, requirement analysis, architecture, detailed design, implementation, testing and maintenance. Abbas is versed in modern technologies including cloud analytics, mobile development, big data and wireless connectivity. Abbas is experienced in solving cybersecurity, human factors and system engineering problems. Abbas received his master’s degree in Software Engineering from University of Houston Clear Lake and Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology form North Gujarat University with distinction.
