Our customer had developed a groundbreaking therapy that paired Vagus Nerve Stimulation with listening audio tones to treat Tinnitus. Their therapy requires millisecond precision between the stimulation and audio tone delivery. They needed a custom software application to program the therapy and control the delivery of the stimulation and audio tones.
Tietronix identified the most critical requirements and designed a system to deliver the precision therapy. The medical application allows programming of the therapy with selection of timing of delivery and frequency of tones to customize the therapy for each patient. We achieved millisecond precision by architecting the system to optimize the delivery system and isolating any user interaction to not affect the delivery mechanics.
The system was successfully used in clinical trial for Tinnitus patients in Europe.
